Well, this blog definitely gives you some photos to work with for your midterm project. The picture of the eye could be worked with pretty well. It is super eery looking and could be manipulated well. The part I like most amount this piece are the words darkness and decay. These words extend a little further than just death and could be explored deeply to really give you some interesting feedback. I think you should focus on the idea of death and actually bring it to life in your piece as one of the artists you chose in blog #3 does. I'm interested to see what you do with the skulls and how much you really incorporate them into your work. Decay is such a great word, really dig deep into this!
Although this is a very gruesome subject, I like that you chose to represent it in your project. the artists you chose fit very well with your big idea and I think you did a very great job tying it in with your own beliefs. good job!
